CP138 is a reflective Siemens star test chart compliant with ISO12233:2014. The chart includes a sinusoidal Siemens star, 16 grayscale patches distributed around the edges, and multiple vertical and horizontal slanted edges on both sides. It is mainly used for testing the MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) in all directions. Compared to slanted-edge MTF, the Siemens star is less sensitive to image sharpening. When both Siemens star and slanted-edge MTF are analyzed together, comparative evaluation can be achieved, helping to comprehensively assess image sharpness performance.
