Yanding IMC142 chart is primarily designed to measure signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range, in accordance with ISO14524 and ISO15739
standards. It is mainly used to evaluate the dynamic range of the entire imaging system of a device, which refers to the range of the highest
and lowest detectable brightness.
▋ Chart Patterns
● Four markers distributed around the edges, which can be used for software-based analysis and positioning.
● 36 grayscale patches arranged in a circular pattern in the center, primarily used to reduce the impact of vignetting on the dynamic range and
signal-to-noise ratio testing.
● Color patches distributed in the center and on both sides, which can be used to test image color indicators.
● Square matrices distributed on both sides, which can be used to detect stray light interference in HDR performance.
● Four slanted patches distributed around the edges, which can be used to test image resolution indicators.
