Product Brief
TrueLight Multi-Spectral Light Source – Chart Fill Light (MSL26-3060-4S/MSL32-3060-IR-4S) is designed with dozens of LED units featuring different peak wavelengths and spectral bandwidths. Combined with a precision spectrometer and proprietary spectral synthesis algorithm, it achieves fine spectral combination via LEDs to accurately reproduce the spectral characteristics of various light sources. It supports image color reproduction testing under multiple color temperatures and spectra. By adjusting the amplitude of 26/32 internal LED sources, it precisely fits target spectra, enables rapid switching of different illuminance levels, and offers 60,000-step fine brightness adjustment per channel. A single unit can accurately simulate imported target spectra such as A, H, D50, D65, and D75.
Key Features
Precise Reproduction of Standard Illuminant Spectra
With 26/32 LED channels, it accurately presents spectra of Planckian radiators (e.g., CIE A) within 1,800K to 20,000K and CIE D series standard daylight illuminants.
Flexible Combination for Diverse Fill Light Needs
It can be used as a standalone fill light device for basic scenarios, combined with two units on each side to provide uniform and sufficient light for large charts, or flexibly arranged in multi-unit setups to meet large-scale and high-demand fill light requirements, adapting from single objects to batch items.
Independent LED Channel Control: Precise, Efficient, and Intelligent
Each LED channel supports 60,000-step illuminance adjustment for precise light control. Single-channel light switching takes only 30ms, and multi-channel spectral switching completes within 70ms. With dedicated software, automated spectral switching according to preset timelines is achievable. Minimum bottom illuminance per channel is below 1lux, meeting low-illuminance testing needs and covering multi-dimensional lighting requirements.
Optional Spectrometers
The 26-channel standard light source supports visible light and is compatible with spectrometers like CL500A; the 32-channel version includes near-infrared and supports infrared spectrometers for fitting.
Applications
Image color reproduction testing: Validates color reproduction capability of camera modules by simulating spectra of various color temperatures and illuminance levels.
Real-scene quantitative testing: Adjusts spectra for testing under different color temperatures, illuminance, and monochromatic light environments. Leverages fast channel switching (within 30ms) to verify dynamic metrics like white balance convergence speed of camera modules.
Control Methods
Direct control via touchscreen for default spectra illuminance/color temperature switching and recall of 100 user-saved spectral data.
Computer GUI for direct control of light source and spectrometer, generating various spectra, switching, sequencing, and unlimited saving of settings.
It provides the AP (I C, C ++) required for secondary development and supports direct remote control through code
