Black Mura

Overview

The Black Mura Standard is a standardized measurement method for evaluating the uniformity of automotive displays. It was established by the German Automotive Work Group Displays (an organization dedicated to developing various industry standards, whose members include renowned automakers such as BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Daimler, and Porsche) and published by the German Flat Panel Display Forum (DFF). As an open testing methodology, the Black Mura Standard can be implemented using any measurement equipment that meets its specifications.
